Dr. Ashley Book

Dr. Book graduated from the University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia in 2013. She worked as a mixed animal veterinarian in rural Alberta, Canada for her first year before moving to Washington. She has worked as a General Practice veterinarian since moving here in 2015. Her interests include preventative care, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Book grew up in rural Alberta, Canada. She moved to Washington to be with her husband in 2015. They have two young children and a twelve-year-old dog named Lincoln. She enjoys spending time with her family exploring the Pacific Northwest camping and hiking. Her family and work life keep her quite busy but she does enjoy reading and running in her downtime.

Dr. Terri Hartung

Dr. Hartung graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1984, and received her veterinary degree from Oklahoma State University in 1988. She attained specialty board certification in Canine and Feline Practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 1995, and joined Redmond Fall City Animal Hospital in January 1996.

She shares a hectic household with her husband, two active and opinionated homeschooled girls, and a pack of dysfunctionally intelligent dogs (currently one boxer and two Australian Shepherds). In her free time, she enjoys reading (history, literature and education), writing (essays and short fiction), and dog activities. At work her special interests include internal medicine, behavior, and pediatric/geriatric care.

Dr. Andrea Hoover

Dr. Hoover graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University in 2009. She practiced for five years in a feline exclusive clinic before joining Redmond-Kirkland and Redmond-Fall City Animal Hospitals in 2014. Her interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and feline behavior. She and her husband enjoy hiking in the local mountains, photography, and spending time with their daughter. They own an English setter, "Jack," who enjoys getting out on the trails, and two very social Bengal cats, "Ryoushi" and "Sasha."

Dr. Erin Maillet

Dr. Maillet graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. While in veterinary school, she studied mercury contamination of endangered river turtles in Venezuela. After graduation, Dr. Maillet practiced at a five doctor practice just north of Boston. She moved with her husband to the Seattle area in 2002. She has worked as an emergency veterinarian, shelter veterinarian and as a general practitioner. In 2008, Dr. Maillet had her first child. In her limited spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, gardening and trying to keep some semblance of order to her growing household. She also has two naughty cats who add to the chaos. Dr. Maillet's special interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine.

Dr. Noelle Thomas

Dr. Thomas graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis in 2004. She practiced for several years at a more rural clinic in the mountains of Southern California, where she had the opportunity to work with wildlife and the Moonridge Animal Park. She moved to Washington with her husband in 2011 to work as a general practitioner in Woodinville before joining Redmond Kirkland Animal Hospital in 2014. Dr. Thomas’s interests include exotic animal medicine, internal medicine and dentistry. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Thomas has her hands full with two small daughters, two chatty cockatiels and one equally chatty orange tabby cat. If she has the chance, she enjoys baking, cross-stitch/knitting and curling up with good novel.

Dr. Rachel Wise

Dr. Wise received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in Zoology and went on to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University, graduating in 2005. Since graduation, she has worked at two small animal practices in the Bellevue area until finding a home at Redmond-Kirkland & Redmond-Fall City Animal Hospitals in the fall of 2014. Dr. Wise enjoys internal medicine, feline medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She resides locally and lives with her two daughters. Free time is mainly spent with family enjoying what the Pacific Northwest has to offer or just hanging at home.

Dr. Mike Brands

Dr. Brands was born in Indiana, but has been a West Coaster for the past 13 years. He studied engineering and business at Purdue University before starting a career in retail management. It took some time before he found his true calling in life and enrolled in veterinary school at the University of Minnesota, where he earned his DVM degree.

Mike’s two strongest passions in life are animals and travel. He finds opportunities to combine these passions whenever possible, like working with veterinary practices in Australia, Vietnam and Thailand as well as volunteering his veterinary services in Uganda, Cambodia and Ecuador. In their spare time, Mike and his wife enjoy hiking, camping and globetrotting.

Dr. Anne Gigi Chan

Dr. Chan obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota. She is an active member of the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Medical Association and an avid international traveler.

Dr. Chan was born and raised in Hong Kong, but the travel bug has taken me to California, England and Vancouver, BC, before she settled in the Seattle area in 2003. She graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz, in 1994, and received me degree in veterinary medicine from Royal Veterinary College, University of London, UK, in 1999.

In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, reading, chilling out with her husband (Dan) and two Labrador Retrievers (Gander and Gimli), and spending time in the great outdoors.

Dr. Lilly Ho

Dr. Lilly Ho obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1998 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2002.  After graduation, she decided to head west and has called the PNW home ever since.  Dr. Ho has experience in shelter medicine in addition to working previously at veterinary clinics in Lakewood and Kent, WA.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, travel, gardening, yoga, and the outdoors.  She shares her home with a bossy Pekingese "Lady" and a shy Terrier X "Sophie."
