Dr. Terri Hartung

Dr. Hartung graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1984 and received her veterinary degree from Oklahoma State University in 1988. She attained specialty board certification in Canine and Feline Practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 1995 and joined Redmond Fall City Animal Hospital in January 1996.

She shares a hectic household with her husband, two active and opinionated homeschooled girls, and a pack of dysfunctionally intelligent dogs (currently one boxer and two Australian Shepherds). In her free time, she enjoys reading (history, literature, and education), writing (essays and short fiction), and dog activities. At work, her special interests include internal medicine, behavior, and pediatric/geriatric care.

Dr. Erin Maillet

Dr. Maillet graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. While in veterinary school, she studied mercury contamination of endangered river turtles in Venezuela. After graduation, Dr. Maillet joined a five doctor practice just north of Boston. She moved with her husband to the Seattle area in 2002. She has worked as an emergency veterinarian, shelter veterinarian and as a general practitioner.   Dr. Maillet joined Redmond Fall City Animal Hospital in 2008 and is the current medical director.  Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, preventative and internal medicine.  She shares her home with her husband, son, daughter, two cats, and a dog.  She enjoys traveling with her family, gardening, reading and running.

Dr. Nicole Jorgenson 

Dr. Jorgenson in a New Jersey native who received her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University (2010) and her veterinary degree from the University of Missouri (2015). In veterinary school, Dr. Jorgenson was a participant in the Veterinary Research Scholars Program, president of Pet Assisted Love and Support (a pet-therapy club that visited hospitals and nursing homes), gold-member and executive board member for the Veterinary Business Management Association, and graduated magna cum laude. Upon graduation, she started practicing emergency medicine at a large specialty hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She relocated to Washington in 2017 and made a transition into general practice.

Dr. Jorgenson’s special interests include emergency medicine, wound management, soft tissue surgery, and educating/involving clients in decisions regarding their pets’ healthcare.

Her favorite activity is spending time outdoors with her husband and German Shepherd, Farina, whether it be hiking, boating, or just exploring the Pacific Northwest. She also loves baking, traveling, and her two cats - Vinnie and Dunkin!

Dr. Kristina Schwartz 

Dr. Schwartz received her undergraduate degree in Russian Studies from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She worked in Russia for a year on a large dairy farm before attending the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2019. Dr. Schwartz was the president of the veterinary school nutrition club and has been involved with cows, chickens, and small ruminants in addition to cats and dogs. Her interests include dermatology, internal medicine, surgery, and any animal that might live on a farm. Dr. Schwartz and her husband, both originally from the East coast, enjoy their new life in the Pacific Northwest, where they frequently run, hike, rock climb, and go on other adventures.

Dr. Schwartz will be joining our practice June 17th!  We are optimistic that you will find both of these new additions to our team a great asset to our clinic and your pets.

Dr. Mike Brands

Dr. Brands was born in Indiana but has been a West Coaster for the past 13 years. He studied engineering and business at Purdue University before starting a career in retail management. It took some time before he found his true calling in life and enrolled in veterinary school at the University of Minnesota, where he earned his DVM degree.

Mike’s two strongest passions in life are animals and travel. He finds opportunities to combine these passions whenever possible, like working with veterinary practices in Australia, Vietnam, and Thailand as well as volunteering his veterinary services in Uganda, Cambodia, and Ecuador. In their spare time, Mike and his wife enjoy hiking, camping, and globetrotting.

Dr. Lilly Ho

Dr. Lilly Ho obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1998 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2002.  After graduation, she decided to head west and has called the PNW home ever since.  Dr. Ho has experience in shelter medicine in addition to working previously at veterinary clinics in Lakewood and Kent, WA.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, travel, gardening, yoga, and the outdoors.  She shares her home with a bossy Pekingese "Lady" and a shy Terrier X "Sophie."
